Cloudkeeping Series: Hubdoc
In our second installment in our cloudkeeping series, we chose to highlight the benefits of using Hubdoc!
Hubdoc uses OCR technology to scan your files and store them in their intuitive platform. Over time the software tracks your input, so the next time you upload a similar file, every input field will be populated. One the file is scanned, the option is there to push your documents straight to your accounting platform, so that you do not have to enter the information manually.
There are also multiple ways to upload your files to the platform. You can upload via photo with their app, forward an e-mail/attachment or simply scan and upload. From there, you have options to store within a cloud storage (ie. box, dropbox, google drive), so that you have peace of mind that your documents will be safe.
Finally, you can hook your most frequent vendor/bank accounts up, so that Hubdoc automatically fetches the information for you!
We think that every accountant and small business should be using this product to simplify their workflow, as it has saved us a lot of time in the past and as they say, time is money!
